A newly formed film distribution company by the name of Cinema Arts Releasing, a wholly-owned a subsidiary of Eleven Arts Inc., has announced via press release that it has partnered with Funimation to distribute Evangelion 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance to theaters in January 2011 as part of a limited nationwide theatrical run.
Further information on dates and locations is expected at a later date. Funimation previously handled theatrical distribution of the first Eva film in 2009 with some success as it entered the film in various film festivals across the country.
The film is also scheduled to be released on Blu-Ray and DVD next year via Funimation in the updated 2.22 version.
