Black Rock Shooter Game Developer Confirms Publishing Deal with NIS America

The Japanese video game developer Imagepoch, recently in the news due to its confirmation of a Black Rock Shooter video game adaptation has now confirmed in an interview with Dengeki Online that it has struck a deal with Nippon Ichi Software’s American branch to publish its forthcoming titles in Black Rock Shooter: The Game, Tale of the Last Promise and Chevalier Saga Tactics for the US and European markets.

The developer cites strong sales of the Disgaea developer’s titles in the 150-220K range as its impetus for expansion to the Western market. Black Rock Shooter: The Game will be launched next year in Japan, with noted animator ufotable handling the animation sequences for the game.
