ADV Picks Up Former CPM Titles
According to recently from online retailer RightStuf, three titles formerly licensed by the now defunct Central Park Media have been licensed by A.D. Vision for release later this year.
World of Narue, Now and Then, Here and There, MD Geist, and Grave of the Fireflies have all been listed as forthcoming releases on the RightStuf New Items page for tentative release between July 7th and July 28th of this year.
Central Park Media recently filed for Chapter 7 liquidation and speculation was high regarding the status of it catalog of titles and whether they would be relicensed for future sale.
The remainder of the CPM catalog is still up in the air as many titles from the VHS and LaserDisc era are still unavailable on any modern format, and other venerable titles such as Utena remain off of the market.

Well now that a more solvent company has the right so some of CPM old catalog hopefull we’ll be seeing more of the old stuff come out on DVD in the near future.
