Battle Fantasia Launching in Fall on US Playstation Network

Aksys Games, the publisher closely affiliated with the Japanese publisher Arc System Works has announced in a press release that it will release the formerly Xbox 360 exclusive Battle Fantasia one-on-one fighting game for the Playstation Network this fall.

The game is done in the same kinetic style as the popular and venerable Guilty Gear series with an equally bizarre cast of characters. Aksys Games has provided the following statement.

“The fans have been asking for it and we’re here to deliver,” said Frank “Bo” deWindt II, Project Lead, Aksys Games. “Thanks to the revival of the fighting genre this year there hasn’t been a better time to release such a fun and exciting fighter like Battle Fantasia on the PlayStation Network.”

The release confirmation follows the successful launch and reception of another Arc System Works property in BlazBlue, which was launched last week to rave reviews and praise.
