Anime has never been pushed or promoted properly. There’s no true marketing campaign other than shows in some…i do mean some… overly edited series on off hours on tv unless you pay for a package deal that gives you lots of other channels you could care less about.. Any article written on a series seems to be usually skewed to being GREAT and never described for what niche it is and when you finally buy a copy because of the hype you wonder why it was GREAT when you you feel you’d been had and lied to only to get a DVD or set, and that you’re really disappointed in and had to spend top dollar to do it, then swear off buying any more until someone you know buys something, then either gives you the low down or the DVD because they’re never gonna watch it again….. Cripes, Anime pedlars have me feeling sooooooo used.
