Boxee Announces Crunchyroll Integration

Media platform developer Boxee has announced the addition of the Crunchyroll streaming media portal via an internally developed application for the Boxee platform.

The integration allows users to browse Crunchyroll’s extensive library of Japanese animation and Asian programming while adding Boxee’s touted social tools and tight integration with remote control input designed to ease browsing. The integration will also allow for complete access to the premium Anime Membership service offered by Crunchyroll whereby the portal offers high quality streams and simulcasts for a fee.
