Firefox on PS3?

One of the biggest complaints on the the PS3 involves the built-in web browser, a piss poor port of the NetFront web browser developed by Japanese conglomerate ACCESS Co. Ltd. It sucks, its slow and any attempt to extend functionality makes it even worse.

Now comes a rumor that Sony has been in talks with Mozilla to develop and port a version of Firefox for the PS3, but at this point nothing is definitive. Here’s hoping Sony decides to go through with it as I’d like to surf on my PS3 again without memory errors.
