Funimation Confirms FLCL to Keep Original Synch-Point Dub

Not long after the announcement of the FLCL rescue and forthcoming release on Blu-Ray, rumors started popping up that Funimation would be redubbing the show with its own stable.

Thankfully, they’ve confirmed that the original dub will remain intact although there’s still no word on Blu-Ray specifications.

I do hope they’ve learned how to do a proper Blu-Ray upscale without forcing 1080i24 and making the footage look like crap as was the case with many of their more recent Blu-Ray releases in Witchblade, The Conqueror of Shambala and Full Metal Panic.
