Funimation Confirms Low Sales of Big Windup, No Second Season License

Big Windup coverFunimation representative Adam Sheehan has confirmed poor sales of slice of life baseball anime Big Windup! despite early internal projections of success.

Because of the low sales of the first season on DVD, Funimation has decided against licensing the upcoming second season, despite increasing demand for it across the small fanbase.
