Funimation Convention News Roundup

Funimation has announced the following developments for the distributor during this weekend’s Anime Boston and Anime North conventions:

Funimation has signed a production and distribution agreement with Kadokawa Pictures USA for the long awaited release of the anime adaptation of the Spice & Wolf franchise.

Following that, Funimation has also announced that it will release the Sgt. Frog anime adaptation in September which will retain all references and inside sight gags related to the Gundam, Macross, and other associated Japanese franchises with a preliminary release set for the 22nd in a 13 episode DVD boxset.

Finally, the English voice cast for Eva 1.0 has been announced and the roles will be played by the following actors:
