Gainax Commits to Blu-Ray: Eva 1.11 Release Details Revealed

The official Evangelion web site has been updated with the first details of another home video release of the Evangelion: You Are (Not) Alone feature film with further refinements to footage on top of the improvements made with the prior 1.01 release intended to sucker the countless drones that put weight behind meaningless changes such as the positioning of the characters and the color of the background.

More details are expected on March 16th when distributor King Records plans to detail the specifics of the Blu-Ray and DVD release.

In related news, the release date for the second film in the franchise, Evangelion: You Can (Not) Advance has been set for June 27th with Anno promising a new story, more fan service, new model designs for the EVAs and other insignificant dreck that means nothing to all but the 1% that are sure to do a frame by frame of each scene in order to prove that Shinji is the personification of Jesus or some other asinine reasoning that somehow proves Anno was using the Christian symbolism to prove a point instead of using it for aesthetic reasons, as he has stated before.
