La Virgen Daisy (The Virgin Daisy)
I don’t know what to say about this one: It’s a rendition of the Virgin Mary using Nintendo characters Princess Daisy and Toad. I’m simultaneously shocked, excited and conflicted.

I have no problem with it.
Religious symbols have always been used by artists for pop culture.
The Virgin Daisy is just another example of this. This Daisy is inspired by the Virgin of Guadalupe?
@ Denshou : En teoría no puedes decir que no es la madre de dios, primero porque para los católicos sí lo es y ellos la inventaron (como tal) y segundo porque la santísima trinidad dice que Jesus y Dios son el mismo ser. De cualquier forma yo no coy católico ni creyente ni nada, así que no me importa, solo digo (y dije en teoría).
Pero sí he visto este tipo de arte antes. Incluso hay un sujeto… medio famoso, creo, lo vi en TV un día, que hace arte erótico con la imagen de una virgen y un indio, que creo que es santo. Y al parecer eso tampoco ofende a nadie, yo creo que mucho menos esta virgen.
Nunca había escuchado de la princesa Daisy O_O de qué Mario es?
