Kadokawa has a November 10th release date for the first collected volume of the Macross The First serial currently published in companion magazine Macross Ace.
The serial features Lynn Minmay as the protagonist and centers around her adventures in the Macross universe.
In related news Kadokawa has also the relaunch of the Macross 7 Trash manga, with the first two volumes launching on November 26th and volumes 3 & 4 in December.

I hope this comes out in english. i’d love to collect it and reminisce the good old Macross days.
Comic reading aside, I also hope there will be a free-roaming sandbox type video game in the Macross universe. Imagine all the things you can explore and do inside the SDF-1! Which must be what Minmay would be experiencing in this new manga. And try adding into that game the wealth and breadth of deep space.
