MGM to Distribute Live Action Blood: The Last Vampire in US?

ImageAccording to Twitch, MGM have submitted the live action film adaptation of Blood:The Last Vampire to the MPAA for classification under the Samuel Goldwyn imprint with no immediate release details with the film receiving an R rating for violence.

The plot of the film is based around the Blood: The Last Vampire animated feature film and companion Blood+ TV series.

The film was co-produced by Universal Pictures and will be released in Europe via the Focus Features imprint on June 12th in the UK, June 17th in France, and Japan on May 29th under the title Last Blood.

Yahoo Japan has also begun to stream the Japanese trailer for the film.
