The image speaks for itself, Studio 4C is working on it and they were found on NeoGAF.

Wow, it would be a dream come true. How long I have waited for this. Thanks for giving the info!!!

I’m glad to see they will take the Anime past the Eclipse, but I still think the Manga is far more superior to the Animation (even this new OVA) because of the quality in Art, and Storytelling. Lets hope that this time Budget/Finance doesn’t get in the way…

  4. Ratatosk says:

Nah, Studio 4c do better 3d and backgrounds than that. They look like they’re badly photoshopped over blurred stills from one of the games.

I would love this to be true, but meh, dont worry people, the longer we wait for more animated Berserk the better it will be when it finally arrives.

@Ratatosk. Yeah, that was my initial reaction too. Something about the second image just doesn’t look quite right. Thinking about it, I would say that if these are just taken by a regular camera or phone, there should be some kind of motion blur/frame transition in the images. That said, I don’t really know anything about how animation works so that might or might not be relevant. And I would be so happy if they were to make a new series of Berserk a la Hellsing Ultimate. It would seriously kick some demonic ass.
