New Evangelion Shojo Manga on February 24th in Japan
Japan’s Asuka Magazine will be a new shojo manga serial based off of Neon Genesis Evangelion on February 24th titled Evangelion – Ikari Shinji Tantei Nikki (Evangelion – Shinji’s Detective Diary) with character design provided by Takumi Yoshimura.
This follows two previous shojo manga adaptations of the storied franchise beginning with Evangelion: Kôtetsu no Girlfriend 2nd. andEvangelion: Gakuen Datenroku.
Along with shojo manga adaptations, the franchise also has shonen manga adaptations in Shin Seiki Evangelion (Neon Genesis Evangelion) by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and the most recent adaptation in Evangelion: Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku from Osamu Takahashi, based on the video game of the same name.
