New Ghost in the Shell: SAC Manga Confirmed
Following up confirmation by Kodansha USA CEO Yoshio Irie last month, the parent company in Kodansha has the forthcoming launch of two new manga adaptations based on the franchise.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – Tachikoma na Hibi will launch in the January issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Young Magazine on December 9th in Japan.
The manga is based off of the spinoff series of bonus anime shorts recounts the stories of the Tachikoma AI tanks from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime series, with the second manga simply titled Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex which will launch in the 2009.02 issue of Weekly Young Magazine also published by Kodansha next month on December 14.
