One Piece Limited Edition “Episode 0″ DVD Confirmed

Japan’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine has confirmed the forthcoming release of the anime adaptation of the One Piece Episode 0 origin story set to be published in December’s Weekly Shonen Jump 2009 issue 53, with the first 1.5 million moviegoers attending theatrical screenings of December’s One Piece Film: Strong World receiving a bound copy of the manga.

The animated version of the Episode 0 story will be released on 3,000 limited-edition DVDs given away in collaboration with the House Foods food distribution company in Japan in a giveaway promotion.
