OverDrive Provides Libraries with Manga Entertainment Properties for Digital Lending

The academic and retail digital content management solutions provider OverDrive has announced that it is offering Starz Media content to its network of member libraries across the US and Canada which encompasses Manga Entertainment.

The programming in question consists of horror films, documentaries, independent films, and anime series. Anime series of note that are available for viewing and side loading on Windows Media DRM compatible devices include Kai Doh Maru, Macross II, Macross Plus, Ninja Scroll, and Read or Die. Others also available depending on library system include Black Jack, Blood: The Last Vampire, The Castle of Cagliostro, Dead Leaves, Ghost in the Shell, Macross II, Macross Plus, Ninja Scroll, Perfect Blue, and Read or Die.

Access to the downloads requires access to the Windows-only OverDrive Media Console software, and sideloading requires devices to be compatible with either Plays For Sure or Windows Media DRM.
