Peach-Pit on Hiatus Due to Illness

The creative duo Peach-Pit, responsible for the Zombie Loan, Rozen Maiden and Shugo Chara manga series, have announced that they will be on hiatus due to illness requiring a hospital stay of undetermined length for one of its members who remains unnamed.

Because of this, the above stories will not receive a regular chapter in the G Fantasy, Young Jump, and  Nakayoshi magazines respectively and will instead feature a color front page in G Fantasy, Weekly Young Jump will have a pin-up poster of the cover illustration from this month’s first compiled volume of Rozen Maiden in the magazine while also having an article summarizing the Rozen Maiden story thus far.

The February issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi will not have the usual Shugo Chara chapter, with a side story about the characters Nagihiko and Amu-chan that was first published in the Winter 2007 Lovely Nakayoshi special issue taking its place and published for the first time in the monthly publication.  The duo also illustrated the cover and front page for the aforementioned magazine.
