Slayers Evolution R Airdate Details Surface

Slayers Evolution-R, the newly planned 13 episode series set to follow up last year’s Slayers Revolution will air on Japan’s AT-X satellite network on January 12th at 9pm JST, though over the air UHF/VHF broadcast information is not known at this time.

Slayers Evolution-R had been plagued with cancellation rumors owing to lower than expected ratings and DVD sales of last season’s 26 episode series, but Japanese studio JC Staff has insisted in many interviews that another season was always planned after Revolution regardless of the show’s financial performance and popularity, which has experienced a pronounced decline in recent years.
