Fender Japan has announced the forthcoming availability of the Rei Series Custom Shop Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster guitar in Japan. The guitar series is meant to be a hand-built limited edition with input provided by Fender master luthier Yuriy Shiskov.

Hardware specs include custom Salvage Blue urethane paintjob. gold-plating, Lance of Longinus pearl inlay on the neck and rosewood fretboard, Schaller tuning hardware, Dunlop Narrow Jumbo Frets, Samarium Cobalt pickups, American Vintage Strat string-through-body hardtail bridge design and a black hardshell case with black crushed velvet interior.

The guitars will be launched in December with pricing information unavailable at this time.
