Viz has announced that it has begun offering the first episode of psychological drama Monster by Naoki Urusawa for free via Sony’s Playstation Network from January 26 through February 9. The episode will also be available in the PLAYSTATION Network Home Theater within the Home application from January 28 through February 4.
Following up its availability on iTunes, the first six episodes of Monster are now available for rent on the Playstation Network for $1.99 each, with the episodes being English-dubbed.
The Playstation Network is accessible on the Sony Playstation 3, PSP and PSPgo consoles.
Following up on the premiere of Monster on SyFy’s Ani-Monday block, Manga Entertainment has placed the highly acclaimed character drama on iTunes for sale. Manga has also begun streaming the first English dubbed episode on its dedicated portal with each episode added every week after airing.
