Crunchyroll has announced that it has added the slice of life series WHITE ALBUM to Crunchyroll’s Fall 2009 Anime Lineup. The series is adapted from the visual novel PC game developed by Aquaplus and is animated by studio Seven Arcs and features voice actresses Nana Mizuki and Aya Hirano in the lead roles of Rina Ogata and Yuki Morikawa respectively.

The story centers on male protagonist Toya Fujii who has a timid, yet vulgar personality and is often unorganized. He often laments the amount of time he has to spend with Yuki Morikawa, whom he is romantically attracted to.  Yuki is an idol singer rising in popularity,and is affiliated with the Ogata Productions talent agency. Rina Ogata is a popular idol singer under the same management agency as Yuki. She is often occupied with work and becomes attracted to Toya to compensate her loneliness.

WHITE ALBUM will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the United Arab Emirates and Brazil in 480P for Crunchyroll’s Anime Members every Wednesday at 12:30 PM PST and free of charge to all visitors of Crunchyroll’s website and across the Crunchyroll network one week later.
