Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee author Hiroyuki Asada confirmed that the second anime season based on his Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee manga is premiering this fall in an interview given to Japan’s Pafu magazine. The original manga follows a boy who runs deliveries as a “Letter Bee” messenger throughout a fantasy land. An anime special was also produced for 2008′s Jump Super Anime Event Tour event series, and later streamed worldwide. Viz Media previously announced at Comic-Con International 2008 that it planned to release the Tegami Bachi manga in North America starting in March.

The first television season has been running in Japan from October of last year and will end in March of this year, with Crunchyroll simulcasting the first season on its video streaming portal
