Tinami Opens Content API to Third-Party Developers
Japanese independent creator portal Tinami has that it has opened its API to third-party developers which will allow access to over 130,000 illustrations, manga, animation, text works, model kit and cosplay photographs, along with other works submitted by its 65,000 users since 1996.
The API will allow creation of applications based around major languages and platforms that can utilize Tinami’s content, an example being the by CatHand for the iPod/Touch/iPad that sorts through the vast submission library.
With the API now open, this will make it easier for those wishing to catalog content in English much easier, as an example.
