Top Six Future Gadgets from Doraemon

Boing Boing Gadgets has listed the top six gadgets from Doraemon’s early manga escapades in the 1970′s.

Some of the gadgets are fantastic such as the Voodoo Camera (creates dolls from pictures) and the Takecopter (attaches to body and is guided by thoughts), but others have become a reality in less fantastic forms, such as the 3D printer (CAM and CNC machines create mockups of products using foam and clay with a computer plotting the shape), the Guided Missile (insert modern naval and aerial artillery), and the Dream Reader which allows for the viewing of a person’s dreams, with scientists and futurists predicting that the technology to read dreams will be available in the near future.
