Viz Announces Detroit Metal City Manga Release

ImageFollowing up, Viz has announced the forthcoming release of one of the most popular properties of last year in Detroit Metal City.

The story centers around mild-mannered Soichi Negishi who dreams of starting a pop band in Tokyo, only to end up fronting the most popular death metal band in Japan, all the while struggling to reconcile the two facets of his personality.

The manga will be released next month on the 9th for $12.99/C$15.99 with the first print run featuring limited edition temporary tattoos.
