Viz Announces Nana on iTunes Store As Timed Exclusive, Honey and Clover Episode 1 for Free
Following up on yesterday’s 20th Century Boys announcement, Viz Media has announced the availability of the slice-of-life drama NANA on the US and Canadian iTunes Store.
NANA is based off of the bespoke manga written by Ai Yazawa and tells the story of two women who share the same name with drastically different personalities that end up crossing each other’s paths due to serendipity, and end up moving in together while sharing the experiences that come with the trials and tribulations of life and love.
Viz is also offering an additional recap episode with the purchase of the Season 1 Pass on iTunes which is only included in the season pass and not available separately. In related news, the first season of the slice-of-life romance comedy Honey and Clover is also available on iTunes for $19.99 with the first episode available for free until August 31st.
Both shows are currently being broadcast on the Funimation Channel and the related cable VOD service available on Comcast with the Nana DVD set release scheduled to ship on September 9 while the first Honey and Clover DVD box set will ship on Septmber 22.
