Viz Media and Warner Home Video Enter Into Distribution Agreement

Viz Media has announced in a press release that it has reached an agreement with distributor Warner Home Video to distribute catalog and new titles through Warner Hove Video in the United States and Mexico.

The first titles to be distributed under the new agreement consist of Naruto Uncut Boxset #13 and Hunter X Hunter Box Set #2 beginning on April 7th 2009 with more titles to be announced in the future.

Warner Home Video has previously distributed anime-related properties in the past such as the Animatrix, Appleseed: Ex Machina, and the recent Batman: Gotham Knight compilation, which have seen sales in mainstream outlets such as Wal-Mart, Target, and other big-box retailers in the US.
