YouTube director of Product Management Hunter Walk has to NewTeeVee that the portal will begin to roll out 1080p video streams as well as going back and re-encoding videos in its library uploaded in the aforementioned resolution for display while talking about new YouTube products such as YouTube XL (YouTube formatted for televisions).
